LGR Attorneys and Fidelity-ADT: Birds of a Feather - NOT IN A GOOD WAY AT ALL - and the hellopeter reviews are equally atrocious.

It seems I share most of the reviews written about this company on this platform. I received a SMS by them for collection of debt related to a Fidelity-ADT (surprise surprise - another company with a terrible rating here) subscription which was cancelled more than a year ago - the contract was cancelled because Fidelity-ADT did not adhere to the written agreement they offered. So, when I contacted Fidelity-ADT, they said, only LGR Attorneys can make a decision on stopping or doing anything about it. According to Fidelity ADT, they could see my contract was cancelled. So, I called LGR, and all they had to say was that they will revert back to the client, who is Fidelity-ADT. They dropped my first call when I asked to speak to a supervisor, and ignored when I called again. Later called from another number and eventually spoke to another person. But so unhelpful, leaving me with more questions than answers. I have been handed over to lawyers for collection of money, by a company who took money from my account *******ly (not according to the contract they had with me). Also, the money they took, was paid to them previously via EFT. They acknowledged their mistake, yet still handed me over to LGR Attorneys who can't even transfer a call to a supervisor.

I was told by the operator to pay the bill, to make all of this go away. What am I supposed to be paying for? I don't know... and no one can tell me. It seems like a **** of some sorts.

How do I deal with this?
