Because we are attorneys we can be rude
So i called LGR attorneys because my account is in default with Std Bank. Well its tough times and when you are with your back against the wall what can you do?<br> So i try to make an arrangement to pay my installment a month late but won't the consultant and her Supervisor make me feel like I'm a ******** and because they are a collection attorney i must understand that they are frustrated and they can speak to me like they want.<br> <br> Instead of trying to help me with an arrangement i had to get told how a low life i am.<br> I'm appalled by the way i got treated today.<br> <br> No empathy or remorse because of money. <br> <br> I was not even given a chance to explain that i might be out on the street anyway soon so try finding me when i sleep on the corner!

Your complaint dated 2 April 2015 refers.
I regret that you have had a negative experience with our call centre agent and supervisor. I have, however, listened to the calls in question and wish to bring to your attention that our company and therefore our staff act under instructions and specific mandate from our client.
Our staff simply attempted to negotiate with you within the framework of this mandate and, as they are obliged to, informed you of the consequences of non-compliance. It is also our responsibility to explain to you any process that may follow should an arrangement not be concluded.
Our office previously attempted, on several occasions, to resolve the matter with you amicably, but unfortunately without success.
We regret that your experience was viewed as unpleasant, but maintain the position explained to you over the phone and as stated above.
