bad service

LGR attorneys services are very poor. They were appointed by standard bank to represent the seller on a cash deal concluded in April 2023. Suspensive conditions were met by the purchasers and paid the money in full into LGR trust account. a CASH deal transaction normally takes 6 to 8 weeks to transfer. 5 moths later the property has not been transferred to the new owners. They are treating this matter as if they are dealing with an estate late. The service is pathetic they don't use a lexis tracker for weekly updates. 2 weeks ago my office sent an email to them requesting an update on the matter and we were informed that they were waiting for the CoE to issue them with rates clearance certificate. today 29th of August i requested an update on the matter and was told the same story. Am not a happy camper

Good morning, as the agent in this transaction you are aware that this is an Easysell transfer and not a normal conveyance. The process and administration involved as well as the expected timelines differ substantially from a normal transfer. You are further aware that the first transfer did not proceed and that the second transfer was only accepted by the bank in May 2023. The balance of the purchase price was paid in June. We are currently awaiting council clearance, which we expect within the forthcoming few days, after which we will be in a position to lodge for registration. We will keep you updated.
