90% discount was a ****.

I have an Absa credit card that was handed over to LGR Attorneys.

I received numerous calls and smses from this company offering me a 90% discount on the settlement amount that would result in the closing of the whole debt, which I finally paid.

They sent me a "Thank you" SMS acknowledging my payment but shortly after that, I received an SMS advising me to add a debit order, which I ignored. I would like to know why am I still receiving those smses that I still owe Absa??? Wasn't the 90% discount meant to settle what I owed???
