Never sign a contract - you will never own the CPE and you will end up paying your contract price forever.

Contract **********! I've been a client with Level 7 for over 6yrs. In January 2018, I opted to go from wireless to fibre on a 24mth contract. for R700 (installation and TP Link Modem included) Worst decision ever. During the 2 yr period, we struggled endlessly with connection speed of or 10Mbps line. We have over 30 logged calls in this aspect. I only recently realised my contract period ended 31 January 2020 and i was automatically switched to month-to-month. No issue there except the month-to-month for 10Mbps line is R599 and they have continued to bill me R799. When I queried this I was told that I can pay R150 to upgrade to 20Mbps for R799 or I can choose the contract for R599. I was also told that it is my fault for not realising my contract had ended. Furthermore despite being locked into the R799 for 2yrs even when fibre prices came down (I am sure if prices went up, they would have had no trouble informing me that my subscription would be increased), I am also told they own the CPE (faulty equipment that had to be replaced 3 times). They are NOT the company they used to be, so despite my long relationship with them, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. This company has deteriorated from the days when Christian Bojara was hands on with the clients. Their support team is good but their SALES and ACCOUNTS team is misinformed about everything.
