NO PROPER LENOVO SUPPORT IN SOUTH AFRICA
I have been having issues with Lenovo products for the past 2 years, at first they failed to fix an issue with a Laptop that was under warranty, it kept switching off without warning even after they changed the motherboard and even advised us to buy a new battery which was very expensive and still the problem persisted.
The machine was eventually replaced (after a very long time) with a Thinkpad X1 Yoga 4th generation, unfortunately this device proved not to be durable, the screen cracked in a simple process flipping the screen open, we were charged almost 20000rand for the replacement of the screen with an ETA of 8 weeks, but now it seems we were quoted something that was not in stock, upon follow up just before the 8weeks we were advised that there isn't a replacement screen in stock with no idea when Lenovo will manufacture another one, and a substitute of a refurbished screen was presented to us, this is the highest level of unprofessionalism and one cannot be faulted for thinking it was always a strategy to make us buy the refurbished one since we are left with no choice.
Can someone of authority within Lenovo review the whole South Africa Lenovo support system including their agencies, because it seems like only agencies are available in South Africa(third party companies are handling our queries) that work on behalf of Lenovo.
