Makro Returns and lenovo south Africa

My ideapad 100 is 8 months old. While skyping the wire that leads to the camera overheated and burnt camera function out. Also dented the cover (the heat) so it looks like a cigarette has been stubbed out on it. Makro sent it to partserve, after 2 weeks they are "busy " quoting me. When I referred them to warranty date they said the bezel is damaged and that voids warranty. What? The reason bezel is damaged because devices faulty and wire burnt out my camera. Still no clarity, no movement. I am at end of tether.
