Lenovo South Africa terrible service

I have purchased my Lenovo tablet, M10 in Dec 2022 as a Xmas gift

Upon installation of this Lenovo tablet android OS I realised that, when the Google OS was installed that the unit in question would not work.

In which case I tried to return this item through the correct channels to takealot and was told that the Lenovo tablet is a non returnable item, and I was advised to seek a warranty help from the Lenovo distributor, in this case Partserve.

NOW I have been told by Partserve that this repair is going to incur a cost.

Now this is where I take exception, as I have not had an opportunity to use this piece of equipment yet. And now I have to pay for a reload of the operating system, which was faulty in the first place.

As I have been informed that a reload of the OS is not covered by the warranty
