Lenovo intel I5 not compatible with windows 11
Just a heads up if you intend buying a new lap top in the near future I bought a Lenovo (I 5) laptop about 4 years ago .The battery and cd rom were replaced under guarantee .The screen broke i was forced to buy external screen But the final straw is when i tried to upgrade to windows 11 "the intel I5 processor is not supported by windows 11"

23 Nov 2021, 16:42I have just been looking through my old picture and i was shocked to find out this laptop was actually manufactured 16/03/07 and it was sold as the latest and greatest from Macro Centurion in 2017
so i in fact bought a brand new 10 year old laptop in 2017
Looks like Lenovo are dumping all their old junk in SA
That explains why it will not handle windows 11

23 Nov 2021, 17:21according to Lenovo this machine was manufactured 7 /3/16 but I found the HDD (model = wdc wd10jpxcx 24uee47c) was manufactured in 2006 ( ie it was 10 years old technology when it was sold to me) Now it is working “flat out” at 100% all the time whilst the CPU and memory are hardly working
