Lenovo IdeaPan frame cracking

I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad C340, R24 000. Less than 6 months later the laptop's frame started cracking around the hinges. I jumped unto some blogs and saw that Lenovo had to recall some of their models in 1st world countries. So I sent mine in. They had the laptop for 6 weeks when they sent it back and said I should have carried my laptop with 2 hands and not in 1 hand. That they are not going to fix the frame. I will never buy a Lenovo again...
