Laptop not even 2 years old and giving me issues

<p>i bought this Lenovo laptop from Game Cresta and a few months ago the battery cable stopped working. The cable is perfectly fine it's not shredding or anything but when you plug it in it sometimes doesn't charge unless you hold it a certain way or move it around and then it charges so it sounds like a faulty wire.. Also the screen keeps dimming every time I open the laptop and I intensify the lighting and it doesn't work. I reboot the laptop and it keeps doing the same dimming **** all the time and I can barely see anything in the screen. I have treated this laptop with 100% care and there's no reason such a "reliable" brand like Lenovo should be giving me such issues especially a pentium laptop. I don't want to have to spend thousands of rands on repairs for buying a peice of **** </p>
