Pathetic. Greedy hospital.

So I went to shifa tonight with a bad cough, body pains, chest pain etc. After screening, in which I told them I had a cough, I was made up stand outside in the rain and wait for the trauma staff. When they were finally ready to see me, I was informed that if I could not pay R1550, I could not see the doctor. I am on medical aid. At every decent hospital with ethics, if you are admitted, the trauma fees are covered by medical aid. This hospital doesn't give a damn, and will make you pay cash regardless. Went to entabeni instead and got much more humane treatment
