Med shield medical aid/ Lenmed Randfontein

Hi there

We have a complain against the above hospital and med shield medical aid scheme. My wife did a cone biopsy on the 17/09/2018 which she had authorization number *** to cover the procedure. The hospital have been harassing her telling her that they will hand her over to their legal department because the medical aid did not pay because the hospital billed them incorrectly/charged. Why is it our problem now to pay the hospital because their *********** billing department made this error. Billing number is :121218Q52NM9 given by their credit consultant.

We paid the anesthetist R1200 that we knew it wasn’t covered by medical aid, that was the only thing med shield made clear that it won’t cover.

She was admitted/discharged the same day 17/09/18. To avoid this harassment then I paid them R9370.00 as they requested. My wife’s name is Mashela Chaba, case no.*** and the statement show that the was no co-payment required.

I need this hospital to tell what is wrong with their administration and investigate this matter. I want my money bac****
