⭐️⭐️ Two Stars – Deeply Disappointed in Lenmed’s Service

I am deeply disappointed by the poor level of service received at Lenmed, especially considering the high costs we pay for private healthcare. During a recent visit with our newborn, we were shocked to discover that Lenmed had no polio drops available — a basic, essential vaccine. This is completely unacceptable for any healthcare facility, let alone a private hospital.

As a result, we were forced to go to a public clinic, which provided inferior service, long waiting times, and cost us an entire day — impacting our productivity and wellbeing. The inconvenience caused by Lenmed’s failure to deliver basic care is completely unjustifiable.

To make matters worse, the conduct of some nurses was unprofessional and insensitive. One nurse even gave our child a nickname, without our consent. This may seem minor to some, but as parents, it felt incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate in a professional medical setting.

For comparison, Netcare has provided us with superior care, organisation, and professionalism in the past. The difference in quality is shocking.

The only reason this is not a one-star review is because the doctor attending to us was outstanding — knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, the doctor’s excellent service is being let down by the poor support and general disorganisation of the rest of the hospital.

Lenmed needs to urgently improve its service quality, vaccine supply, and staff professionalism. Until then, I cannot recommend them to other parents or families seeking reliable private healthcare.
