Formal Complaint Regarding Dr Bulbulia – Lenmed Hospital

Dear Lenmed Patient Relations/Complaints Department,

I wish to lodge a formal complaint about the care I received from Dr Bulbulia at Lenmed.

I was discharged 5 days ago, yet I still do not know what condition I have, what caused it, or how long recovery will take. Dr Bulbulia does not have time nor seems to care to explain anything. All I received was Buscopan to manage pain.

*Specific concerns:* 1. *Lack of explanation*: At no point was my diagnosis, cause, or expected healing time explained to me, even after discharge. 2. *Insufficient sick leave*: I was only booked off for 4 days. I returned to work with the same pain and no improvement. 3. *No follow-up communication*: She does not respond to emails or calls when I try to get clarity about my condition. 4. *Rushed consultations during admission*: Even while I was admitted, Dr Bulbulia would arrive late and spend about 3 minutes writing a prescription before leaving, without any explanation about my treatment or progress.

As a patient, I feel uninformed and unsupported. I need to understand my health condition to manage recovery properly, especially since the pain is ongoing and I’m still on medication that makes it difficult to function normally.

I am requesting that Lenmed investigate this matter. I would appreciate a proper consultation where Dr Bulbulia, or another doctor, can explain my diagnosis, cause, treatment plan, and expected recovery time.

Please advise on the next steps for this complaint.
