I wish there was a zero star rating! as Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital deserves that!

My son was rushed to hospital at about 18:30 last night with a fever of 41.8, we walked into casualty and had to wait for a nurse to see us, eventually when the nurse came to see us she asked me to open up a file, the guy sitting at the reception desk said they don't accept our medical aid, after showing him the payment guarantee from the medical aid he refused to assist us! He told me to fetch my wife and son from the consultation room and leave! i begged him and asked if they can please just stabilize my son until we can get to another hospital. but he refused!

I then called my medical aid and asked the case manager to speak to them, he refused to speak to anyone and said that he won't assist us until we able to pay cash! I mean we have medical aid why should we pay cash. they had then asked security to walk us out.

This is the worst hospital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God that we managed to get my son's fever down with some medication our doctor has prescribed. Lenmed needs to shut down! you pay medical aid to receive better service but the moment you walk in there it feels like a government hospital.

The staff are rude and acts like they doing you a huge favour when in actual fact it's their jobs, don't get me started with the admin staff! they are the worst!!!!!! they are just flippen administrators and act like flippen directors. I will never ever ever ever flippen ever go back there again!

without patients these administrators who act like directors or doctors wouldn't have any jobs yet they act like they doing you a favour!

I would've received better service at a government hospital honestly.
