DISGUSTED with Lancet staff at Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada is beyond atrocious and disappointing

I am shaking as I am typing... I don't know how to describe. I am in tears. I bought in my daughter on Wednesday as she was not feeling. I haven't had a pleasant stay but it was minor issues that I let slide. However, today I was disrespect and disappointed. My daughter's pediatrician specifically requested for my daughter to not have bloods taken again. However, the 2 ladies from Lancet walked in our ward. Greeted and asked for my daughter. 2. I then told the one lady what the Doctor had said and to my surprise the attitude I received from the lady telling me that "There's no need for me to get work up" as she was talking using hand gestures And threatened me that she will tell the doctor I am refusing. And walked away.

I then called her and requested she apologize for her attitude. And asked for the person she reports too..

To my surprise she calls another lady she was doing the rounds with and was the "Manager"

The one lady starts off by defending her colleague from Lancet repeating the fact that they have written on the worksheet that I have refused. After I had explained that my daughter was taken bloods at 4am this morning and to my surprise the doctor specifically said she must not be *****ed again. Then there was a back and forth argument.

Both ladies then walked out the Peads Ward leaving me unattended and speechless.

I am already stressed about my daughter's health. Could they not have Atleast taken time to explain why they want to draw bloods again. Don't they teach the staff on how to handle patients who understand or need more explanation?!?!

I have decided to leave the hospital with the condition my daughter is currently in and take her to another doctor. It's unfortunate because my daughter's pediatrician is one of the best.

I don't not recommend anyone to bring themselves or a family member to such people and It's unfortunate for those who treat us well to be caught up in such a mess.

I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE EVEN IF I AM DYING!!!
