Deplorable and unacceptable behaviour of staff

I was admitted for heart bypass surgery in August of last year, 2018. After surgery I was put into High Care where on one occasion I needed to go urgently to the toilet. I did ask a nurse but was told to wait until the next shift took over. Although this may have taken approx. 10 minutes or so, I tried to hold myself but could not. This was extremely embarrassing.

A few days later I was transferred to ICU where my next complaint was. The lady who takes my meals order confirmed that my meal for the following day would be spaghetti with vegetables as I do not partake in beef or pork. When I did receive my meal and after tasting it, it tasted like meat. When I asked, I was told it's beef. I promptly asked for my meal to be taken away. Later, the ward manager paid me a visit. I informed her about my experience. She then informed me that the hospital did not serve beef or pork to her knowledge. I was not convinced she knew exactly what was being served. Later that day, a young lady came to conduct some nerve test to my lower limbs and as we were discussing my stay, I did mention my experience regarding my meal. I also mentioned that I was doubtful if the ward manager knew as well. Suddenly, the curtains were drawn open, the ward manager only known as Desiree (not sure of the spelling) storms in and accuses the young lady and myself of gossiping about her. I was totally shocked at her behaviour and as I was still receiving shock therapy, I didn't react. The poor young lady was left entirely embarrassed. This sort of behaviour is unbecoming of such personnel. Surely this matter could have been handle privately without embarrassing the young lady.
