BAD SERVICE

I am utterly digusted in the service of the Lenmed hospital in Kimberley. Supposedly it has to be the best hospital in kimberley well I beg to differ. My mother went in for a colonoscopy, which was appointed for 2 o clock in the afternoon , she only went in for her procedure after 6 o clock the evening, no family member was informed on the situation. She is a diabetic and had to fast for the procedure, so she was without a meal for the whole day, putting her health at risk. I would expect any hospital to at least contact a family member and try and explain or keep them informed of any changes if there are any. We all understand emergencies come before normal procedure, just inform the family( they too worry especially in this pandemic we are currently in). Another sad part is staff arent very clear or helpful when phoned to find out what is going on... I am very disappointed. I hope this will help for future performance and maybe jack up the service for a massive improvement.
