annoyed with Lenmed Radiology & Case managers

In Feb 2024 I was admitted to Lenmed hospital, the Dr requested for a MR OF THE LUMBAR SPINE which was paid out of hospital. According to the medical aid no authorisation was given and only an enquiry was done. I made several calls to the hospital, several calls back and forth to the medical aid. The medical aid advise I should speak to a case manager of which at Lenmed is never available, I called more then 5times and was never able to get hold of a case manager. I sent an email to the on the 5th of May to *** & CC’s *** to date no responds. I called radiology was revered back to the medical aid, called the medical aid was referred back to radiology. Medical aid advised the file is under review and the hospital was notified to send supporting documents, radiology advised I should get a hospital authorisation myself from the medical aid. Its been a hell of a week sent from pillar to post. The claim was short paid with R4 140,90 money I don’t have im a pensioner. Spoke to the medical aid again was told a case manager should be dealing with this, the claim must be resubmitted under in hospital as the scan should be approved as in hospital cause the query was MS. I called the hospital again several times not able to get hold of a case manager. The receptionist is just is unhelpful as always
