Worse experience ever!!

I really don't know where all these great reviews come from. Used the company based on these reviews - biggest mistake of my life. If you want to remain sane during a move, DO NOT USE THEM!

Started off with the pick up. I was alone, so was keeping the fort inside my flat while the boss man was ticking off the inventory list as things were being packed into the truck. 2hours later, I randomly found my TV, desk, microwave and chairs at the ground floor lift. They fortunately returned to pick it up and apologised. I let things slide, didn't even let Michael know because life happens sometimes.

I had arranged a delivery time frame (Friday-Sunday) with Michael as I was travelling across provinces and was the only person who could receive my items.On the Sunday afternoon I called Michael to follow up delivery as I had been waiting for 2 days already. I also had limited items with me and was living in an Airbnb awaiting my items. It was only then that it was communicated that they were having fleet issues (apparently a truck got hijacked) and my things would only come the Wednesday.

Come the Wednesday, I waited and nothing- at about 5pm I called Michael and obviously was met with excuses that they were coming the next day. THIS WENT ON FOR 3DAYS!!! And each time it was me calling Michael for an update in the late afternoon. Never him calling with an update!!!

Things finally arrived a week later than the arranged time and what a mess..... broken TV unit, chairs, diesel or petrol leaked all over my boxes and couch (which was covered and now had been exposed after it had been going through who knows what).

I get that life happens and we can't always control things but what ****ed me off was how Michael just never communicated or updated me wrt the progress of delivery. No clothes, living in an airbnb, starting a new job, unexpected expenses that I didn't budget for. Definitely not recommended.
