Sends wrong truck then blames customer and everyone else
Two weeks later I'm cannot figure out if Legend are *********** or wilfully negligent
I had clearly stated on his own load confirmation form that there is a 3 ton weight restriction at both of the complexes involved in my move. Inspire of this he sends a truck weighing over 4 tons and with a gross mass of over 6 tons, twice the allowable gross mass for both complexes. The guards correctly block his truck from entering to prevent damaging the complex infrastructure.
Not to worry as Michael pulls a rabbit out his hat and a correctly sized flatbed arrives an hour later to ascribe as a shuttle with no discussion of additional charges since this was clearly an error on his part.
But wait, there's more and a week later I'm sent the invoice to pay his subcontractor for the shuttle truck he sent without informing me of any cost. The saga then continues with Michael trying to list every reason under sun why this is the client's fault, apart from the fact that he ignored his own load sheet.
However the sub contractor did a great job in-spite of the bad weather and additional loading and offloading from the shuttle. I would strongly recommend them and for this reason award Legand an additional star.
In sort, if you have a short move involving a complex with weight limitation just hire the sub contractor directly:

You stated you needed a 3.5ton truck to enter the estate, we sent a isuzu 300 which is a 3 ton truck which has worked countless times before. When the truck arrived the complex has a GVM limit of 3.5ton which is the same size as a Toyota landcruiser, added to the misinformation provided by you we find out that there is a height limit of 2.5m to the vehicles that enters the estate which you did not inform me about, which you fail to mention in your hello peter review as im pretty sure you are aware after me pointing it out to you that there is no closed volume body truck that can pass a 2.5m height limit. Then now on your public review you give me a extra star for the work Pierre did and yes Pierre does good work i agree with you, but you mentioned that the subcontractor did a great job when in fact he only supp**** the bakkie and a driver my staff are the ones that did the loading and reloading in the bad weather. So that is more misinformation from your side. Timothy i see a pattern of misinformation forming here from your side. Regarding the extra charge I did not discuss it with you on the phone at the time but its not like you can say you were aware that there would be a extra charge it as states so in 2 emails i have sent to you while preparing your quote and again in our T&C's, so please read that and while you reading that please also google images of 3 ton trucks and you will find a isuzu 300 which is the same truck we sent you.
