DESTROYING MY PRECIOUS PIECES

<p>This was a share move. Only 28 pieces of furniture of which 12 were chairs. 6 Pieces were badly damaged, to the extend of R10 000 to repair. I specifically requested wrapping & even paid extra. I sent a picture before move to ensure they knew how much wrapping. Only 3 people arrived, without any wrapping, not even blankets. If time was not an issue, I would have refused them taking my furniture. The driver assured me that they will wrap the furniture when they transfer it to the bigger truck, for the long haul. 1 Item was badly damaged before it was loaded on truck. I contacted Michael Wendels, who promised to pay for repairs. On the day of delivery the staff had no sheet to check that they are off loading the correct items. They brought several items into my home that I sent back to the truck, as it did not belong to me. I sent pictures of all the damaged furniture to Mr Wendels, then had to spent time finding quotes. After a lot of e-mails & more than 2 month's later I still have broken furniture, an apology & 50% of the repair cost. </p>
