Waste of money

I have been a member for over a year and the 2 times I needed them they were not helpful.

1 I needed to get my deposit back, they sent a letter of demand and I never heard from the lady again.

Now someone rear ended my husband, and they immediately start pushing for the small claims court instead of attempting to settle the matter amicably with the third party on our behalf. The goal should always be to AVOID court as it is a lengthy process which involves summons costs, not to mention the backlog at the courts.

I do this for a living and joined legal & tax because I don't want to take my work home with me, I send enough letters of demand in my daily life. I was hoping they would relieve my stress but instead they have added to it.

If you want a company to give you legal advice, this is the company for you. If you want a company that actually does the legal work for you, they are not the company for you.

Would not recommend, I have canceled my policy and will be looking for a company that is willing to do the work.

Extract from the email I received from them " Kindly note that the policy does not allow for cover in matter that can be referred to the small claims court. Please see section 26.14 in your policy below. 26.14 Matters that are trivial or have a monetary value less than the limit of the Small Claims Court."

Going to the small claims court is a lengthy process and involves serving summons etc. taking time off work etc.

Their tax and financial services are excellent hence the 2 stars.
