Sopema Is Disappointing Ayi
That Sechaba from Dube branch guy doesn’t know what he’s doing!!!! Did your processes change since the underwriter has been changed? I’d be worried if I was Sanlam to have such people as representatives, all consumers are allowed to make arrangements. He basically wanted me to lie on a recorded call to say I’ll make a 4 month payment all at once!

Our customer service process has not changed since the change of underwriters, and It is sad to know that you had an unsatisfactory service from one of our staff members.
Apologies for all inconveniences caused.
Our payment process allows our customers to make arrangements and adjustments on their policies while the policies are still active, and have not lapsed.
Please note that if a policy is not paid for 3 non-consecutive months, then the policy lapses. Should a client wish to re-instate their policy without serving a waiting period, they then are required to make payment to cover the 3 months premiums that are in arrears. Failure to do so, will result in the policy being restarted on a 6 months waiting period.
Further clarity and explanation of our terms and conditions will be communicated with you.
