Maritane trying to make a quick buck out of me!!!
My friends and I booked into Kwa Maritane this past weekend. When we tried to check out, all sorts of tricks were tried to try to get money out of us. I was made to pay R700 for something that was termed \Spacebank"which I was never advised about before I checked in. It was then demanded that I pay R350 for an umbrella which one of my friends had borrowed but was returned days earlier. I was told I would be refunded for this error and to date no payment has been made. THEN i was asked to pay R350 for a game drive that we never even enquired about"

07 Jan 2016, 12:49Hello tlelaka,
We are aware of your complaint, as we did receive an email from you on 10 December 2015. We would have appreciated some time to look into this issue before you placed a formal complaint on the internet.
As mentioned to you in my letter dated 15 December 2015, we received numerous complaints from other guests about noise disturbances from your unit during your stay, and on inspection of your unit after check out - we found broken crockery and glasses, a broken toaster, and missing cutlery.
On check in at our timeshare desk, you would have received a copy of our rules and regulations, which need to be adhered to at all times. We found that you did not adhere to these rules and regulations, which is why I unfortunately had to send you a letter after your stay with us. Should you wish to have a copy of the rules and regulations once again, we will gladly send it to you.
At no point during your stay, or on check out were any issues mentioned to management at the lodge, nor was your final bill disputed.
Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please kindly contact me directly.
