Non-Refundable Deposit

<p>I placed on deposit on Saturday 11/03/2017, when calling Divan today 14/03/2017 I was advised that the deposit is apparently non-refundable. There is no documentation that stipulates the deposit is non-refundable, nor were we told that it is a non-refundable deposit. Checking the website under the T&C's there is no mention of the deposit as well. Phoned Drikus who advised that he will see if we can get some of the money back. This is unacceptable, we should have been informed that the deposit is non refundable. Apparently at LDR they "believe their customers can trust them to give them the best advice and service when they need a replacement engine or gearbox". I beg to differ. This definitely contravenes the Consumer Protection Act and I will surely lodge a complaint if this does not get resolved. </p> <p>Keagan</p>
