LDR Engines and Gearboxes

On 24 November 2017 I paid a deposit of R1500 for an engine for my Nissan NP200. They could not fit the engine then and this was to keep the engine for me in Cape Town. I was later informed that the engine could only be fitted in Pretoria. I towed the vehicle there and delivered it on 8 January 2018. They fitted an engine which was faulty and had to be removed. They could not supply another engine. On 16 March 2018 - nearly 4 months after paying my deposit - I went to fetch my car. I was then informed that I had to pay R2000 for work done. The only way Mr Llewellyn the owner would release my vehicle was if I paid this. What could I do!! Iwas never informed of any cost before arriving to fetch my car, infact his 2 employees, Donovan in Cape Town and Rikus in Pretoria, had agreed to repay my deposit. Before going to LDR ENGINES check the comments about them on HELLO PETER. I am sorry I didnt. Llewellen the owner laughed at me when I complained about this. DON'T do business with LDR. They will cheat you!
