Below is a copy of the email I sent to Divan of LDR Engines

"Good Morning Divan

The courier contacted me at 07:00 this morning to inform me that the engine had arrived in Caledon. As my property in Tesselaarsdal (the actual delivery address) is 25km outside Caledon, I therefore did not have the opportunity to physically check the engine. However, as I said to Wesley when I phoned him to keep him in the loop, I am happy to take the chance that some of the ancillaries might have suffered damage during transport - the most important thing is the condition of the engine itself and that is covered by the 3 month guarantee. I paid the outstanding amount in full immediately. I attach proof of payment for your information.

Why I am actually contacting you is to congratulate you on the excellent service I received from LDR, especially Wesley who really went the extra mile to sort me out after the engine in Cape Town developed unforeseen problems. What really impressed me is the fact that you were prepared to trust me and to send the engine directly to me, after I had paid a deposit of only R1000.00. NOT many companies will be prepared to do that!
