Our experience has not been good.

We were 'transferred' from the bankrupt Voice and Date to LanLine mid last year. Throughout the year we have had numerous occasions when there was 'no service' either for a day or days, until recently it stopped altogether. Then someone came round and said that the phones were still pointing at the unstable old V & D servers and not theirs. Fixed, but why did it take 9 months to fix, and why did they not bother to do that originally? Today they have cut us off for non-payment of a bill (January) that has never been sent to us. Their last bill was Decemeber 1st. Our biggest gripe is that you just cannot talk to anybody. All communication is just by email. Even if you call their listed number nobody answers. We have had enough. We are asking our ISP provider if they will take over the VOIP as well, as their billing is exempleray.

Dear Angie,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us. I sincerely apologize for any frustration you’ve experienced, and I want to assure you that your feedback is very important to us.

I’ve attempted to contact you via phone to discuss the matter personally, but it seems we haven’t been able to connect. I understand that communication can sometimes be challenging, and I appreciate the patience you’ve shown as our Support and Billing team has continued to engage with Michael  through email.

I would truly value the opportunity to speak with you directly, as I believe it could help us better understand your concerns and find a solution that works for you. If you would be open to a call, please let me know a convenient time for you, and I will do my best to accommodate.

Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your response.

Regards
Team Lanline

We have already contacted our ISP supplier to see if they can take over the VOIP. We now have sufficient information from your emails that suggests your automatic billing service failed in February when it came to us. However, your automatic cut-off service did not. You cut us off for R90 just one week after the required payment date. We did not choose you last year when V & D went under. You took over V&D's accounts and we went along with it. I wanted to move away from your unreliable service late last year but we let it run. Then to find out last week that it probably could all have been preventable if our phones had been originally pointed to your servers, rather than still connected to the 'unreliable' old V&D ones, did not help. However this payment issue was the last straw that broked this camel's back.
