Disgusted in April

On the 16th January 2023 my wife had a medical emergency at westville hospital while she was pregnant and therefore the gynae decide to do an emergency " c-section" as our unborn baby was at risk,however the procedure was a success and our baby was delivered prematurely and automatically put into ICU for observation approximately 2weeks later baby was discharged after the mom. So in february our baby was then registered on the medical aid after obtaining the birth certificate. Fast forward to April I'm now not able to purchase chronic medication for my other child because I have insufficient funds. After lodging a query it still hasn't been resolved. Has anybody had a similar experience? How does medical aid approve a bed for pregnancy but doesn't cover for the expected result(baby) I don't understand this and the more I ask questions I only hear jargon associated to the medical aid. Also since when does the medical aid deduct from your medical savings account when the patients comes through as an emergency case? I'm really disgusted with this medical aid that can turn a joyful experience into a stressful one,are there any people who review common complaints of customers in these big companies and thereafter inform their valued clients accordingly as opposed to seeing a grey area and profiting off of it?
