No vehicle licence renewal

My vehicle licence has expired and I have not yet received a reminder for the renewal. With the exorbitant licence fees that we pay, including handling charges, why can this renewal not be sent on time? Yet, if stopped by traffic police, I will be fined.....irrespective of the fact the government offices failed in their processes.<br> No renewal form also means that I have to personally be at the licensing office to complete yet another form before I can purchase my licence. This means taking time-off from work for which I will not be compensated.<br> An attempt to contact the licencing office today (Friday 02/10/2015) was fruitless. The phones simply ring into oblivion.<br> <br> I am now forced to drive my vehicle with an expired disc over this weekend.<br> <br> Really disappointing...<br>
