Unsolicited Sales Call

I received a call from KSS Cellular "on behalf" of Standard Bank wanting to market services to me. On requesting them to remove me from their database they were unable to comply. I ask where they received my number and they said from Standard Bank. I requested to speak to a supervisor and after waiting for 5 minutes this was not forthcoming. How are they permitted to use Standard Bank as permission and why did standard bank allow my details to be shared. In contravention of POPI. Unacceptable.
