COLD,DIRTY,****ROACHES. NO REFUND policy and now we know why! DON'T DO IT!!!

Firstly, the Ranch is 10 kilometers from the main road, meaning you need to ensure you pack everything you may need. Upon arrival, we called the owner to open the gate, he advised one of his ladies will show us where we will be staying. The lady unlocked a COLD, DIRTY unprepared chalet. There was no welcoming, this is where you will be staying, watch out for spiders or something, NOTHING! We then asked her for heaters at least to warm up the place, but they had none. We boiled water with the kettle for some coffee to keep us warm, only to find ****ROACHES in and around. I had to wash the kettle with dishwashing liquid, boil clean water in there, before we could use it...by the way, the swab looked like it cleaned the floor. The BEDDING, oh my soul...Horrible!!! We took our own pillowcases, some of the pillows had stains, looking like they had not been washed in years. Dust everywhere. Oh and the 1 towel they provide, size of a hand towel, is DIRTY, SMELLY! We survived the cold night as we had brought our own blankets. We bumped into the owner from a walk, and asked where the animals are, he explained that if we walked on further, there is a dam and that is where we would see most of the animals. Later that day, we saw a few people on his tour bakkie, going on a game drive...ill leave it there! This place is dilapidated, kids play area run down, the pictures on the add were probably taken 20years ago, looks nothing like the pictures...and there is a NO REFUND policy and now we know why! DON'T DO IT!!!
