Kreepy Krauly Pro a Dud!
Dear reader<br> <br> I am more than you average pool owner I have a big interest in pools, even worked in a pool shop on weekends when I was 11, so I know about pool cleaner repairs and have had Kreepy Krauly, Baracuda, even Aquanaut back in the day.<br> My pool is a difficult pool, especially now with autumn leaves starting. It's a big 75,000 litre pool.<br> <br> I bought the new Kreepy Krauly Pro last year (17 September) after my previous generation unit was beyond reasonable repair.<br> BAD IDEA!<br> The new Kreepy Krauly is constantly blocking now with leaves. The side wings have a hole that is too small to allow all the leaves through, so they collect in there, then the machine sticks to the floor (hammer still going happily please note). It also gets leaves stuck in the front overhanging bit (new design on this machine).<br> <br> Then, it is quite a rough pool, and Kreepy has now worn through the pleated suction disc.<br> This NEVER happened on the regular disc on my last machine - it had that till I got rid of the machine!<br> <br> All in all, a TERRIBLE design on those wings and pleated disc.<br> <br> Full review coming to my Blog.<br> <br> Plus, I can't get through to Kreepy Krauly on *** to discuss.
I am rather disappointed to learn of the problem that you are experiencing. I wish to inform you however that the KKpro have been on the market for 2 years and thousand of units have been sold. We have not had any complaints about a poorly designed product. or (bad design). the main body has not changed nor the ports on the bottom and sides The material of the suction seal, footpad and wings has remained the same.
The KKPro can easily cope with leaves and large debris without clogging. Unfortunately, there is little we can do about the *** which is currently out of order. It is a Telkom issue and they are attending to it. we can be contacted on *** switchboard 6 incoming lines. Website: ***. We can be contacted on the abovementioned number for further assistance.
