KREEPY KRAULY 0.25KW Pump And Sand Filter Combo

SERIOUS DESIGN DEFECTS CAUTION!!! This product is NOT intended for use beyond 12 months. I love the idea of this combo (low power, excellent filtration capacity, neat package) and was excited that it comes from a reputable manufacturer BUT, THIS PRODUCT WILL FAIL WITHIN 15 MONTHS due to any or more of the following... 1. Timer PC board component D4 is not sized appropriately. FAILED shortly after warranty period. 2. Timer PC board cover flange cracked causing leaks and PC board FAILURE. 3. 4-way valve spindle yoke cannot maintain axial cartwheel seal pressure. FAILED after warranty period. Required significant repairs. 4. Pump cannot remain out of service for more than a month before mechanical seal becomes binded. This is most likely due to corrosion between the faces of the seal and requires disassembly to be freed. 5. NO spare parts are readily available for this product. 6. Filter/Valve clamp WILL relax over time and cause leakage, even with a new o-ring installed. 7. Moisture WILL enter the pressure guage and corrode internals causing FAILURE. This product was NOT tested for post warranty longevity before going to market.
