Kerry Krauly - Dominator Design Fault
I purchased a Kreepy Krauly Dominator from Makro 16 months ago and within 5 months the Dominator stayed in the deep end and spins in circles. dropped it into pool care in Westville to be repaired which sat for 4 weeks while my pool went almost black. Once I called Creepy Krauly directly only then was it seen to. Well its been another 4 months and again its doing the same thing. I see that this is a fault that all Dominators have because the construction is very poor. Every time you need a repair it will cost you ±R800 every 4 - 6 months. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IT WILL COST YOU IN THE LONG RUN.

29 Jul 2019, 11:30Good morning and thank you for posting. Regretfully, I cannot comment as i do not know by whom the unit was repaired. There certain factors that has to be taken not consideration. We at Fourwater Pool Solutions do not know which components were identified as being faulty and replaced. Please feel free to send your unit to us for a thorough assessment together with the invoice previous repair.

Good morning and thank you for posting. Regretfully, I cannot comment as i do not know by whom the unit was repaired. There certain factors that has to be taken not consideration. We at Fourwater Pool Solutions do not know which components were identified as being faulty and replaced. Please feel free to send your unit to us for a thorough assessment together with the invoice previous repair.

I chatted to Pool Care in Westville and they advised the unit was serviced by Kreepy Krauly KZN there offices are in Promac Paints - 3 Elmfield Place, Umgeni Business Park, Durban. I have now contacted them directly on *** and will be driving to Springfield myself with the unit.
I want to see what they will charge me now. Do you agree this is the correct thing to do?

29 Jul 2019, 11:51Sir, depending on the nature of the problem, if wear & tear is to be or was found and not considered to be a manufacturing defect. Your pool cleaner has a (2 yr) limited warranty. Please let them assess it again and also check the records as to which parts were replaced previously.

Sir, depending on the nature of the problem, if wear & tear is to be or was found and not considered to be a manufacturing defect. Your pool cleaner has a (2 yr) limited warranty. Please let them assess it again and also check the records as to which parts were replaced previously.
