Dominator Pro Dont Buy it and dont support Kreepy Krauly

I bought a Dominator Pro pool cleaner for R 3000 in October 2019. it was sold as a fantastic product with a guarantee and had all the good reasons why you should buy it and pay 2 to 3 times the price of a typical pool cleaner. Recently it started getting stuck and not doing what it was supposed to do so i took it into Kreepy crawly as it was under guarantee,Well what a education. I was told that some gears and bearings had worn out and would need to be replaced however it was due to wear and tear and therefor would be charged for.. I was also told that possibly it was because it was running in excess of 3-4 hours a day. I have paid for the repair as I had no choice and feel that people should now that the warranty does not apply and the product will not even last a year with normal use. The really interesting thing was at arrival at the repair center on the counter is a boxes of product called Dominator Tune up KIT clearly this is a common problem. I quizzed the guy there and he advised this is if you want to do the repair yourself so this fancy cleaner needs constant new parts and service sound like you are buying a motor car
