Brand failure!!

Bought the Petair Kreepy Krauly pump filter combination at Makro Cornubia. First of all it was a mission to connect everything up and sealing all the leaks on the connectors. A couple of months later my pool sprung a leak and was not used for a while. When I then repaired the pool and used the pump again low and behold leaks all over again. Called Makro and they said I must bring in the entire system - again huge mission darining sand etc because they had to "test the entire system" Came back and said the selector was leaking as I apparently turned it while pump was on (I don't think so) but needed the pump back so paid for this repair. Now, 2 weeks later the pump is dead, no power. This is very poor quality, they cannot expect people to set up this system and take the whole thing in again if something goes wrong with it really! Someone must come out to us and check and repair the system. Also no-one knows what pool cleaner can be used with this pump??? Summer is here, my pool is green, come on guys, this is a well known brand!!!
