False Advertising and Poor Customer Service

Received a link from a friend for a product on special (Cable Guy Controller/phone Stand). Price on site was R299 (saveR100). Very good deal I thought and decided to purchase 2. Added them to my basket and proceeded to check out. The total of my basket was R598 and stayed as such through the process of choosing delivery options and adding address data. However, just as I was about to pay by going to payment screen, the total changed to R798. I then sent a message querying this and received the below reply. "Good Day

Thank you for your query

The R299 price was our Black Friday Deal that started on the 27th November and ended at 12:00 las night as per the communications. Our agents were busy changing all pricing this morning. We will have more specials for festive so please create an account to receive our emails

Kind Regards"

And my response to this mail was. "Thanks

I have now cleared my cart and will source the items somewhere else. I did not see your communications, And there was absolutely nothing on the site indicating that the sale had already ended and that the prices shown were not accurate and were changing. If a sale ends at midnight, the price should be changed when it ends.
