Disappointed with customer case for defective hardware.
I bought a PS5 console in January 2021. I've noticed now there is analog drift developing in the controller I got with it. I contacted Koodoo where I bought it from to see if they can help me, even if it was out of warranty I was comfortable paying for a repair. The agent tells me, very informally might I add; it's a common issue and there is nothing they can do about it, with or without sending it to repairs and that my only option is to buy another. Just so it can happen again because it's so common? How is it Nintendo can repair analog drift in their controllers but Sony can't, am I expected to buy a R1500 controller each year this happens?
I'm upset with them, their service is quick and ordering games shouldn't be a problem, but if the customer care involving electronics is like this I strongly urge readers to rethink buying from them or buying 1st party controllers for Sony consoles.
