Horrible experience with staff

<p>We really has such a horrible experience with the staff at Kitty & Puppy Haven. Please note before you attempt to adopt: 1. It is the staff's opinion that you cannot adopt a pup whilst having a toddler. 2. You are not allowed to adopt a pup, if you have a full time job. Yes, ideally this is the best situation but how many families can these days afford to have a stay at home parent??? I am extremely disappointed. This haven has a set of requirements, which needs to be met. They are extremely uncompromising in their views. They are not open for ANY compromises suggested by us i.e. further unexpected house visits etc. Their requirements do not keep up with times. None of these requirements were provided to us before the time, even though I requested information. It was our intent to rather adopt a pup that purchase from a breeder. The haven's views and regulations are so out of date and uncompromising, that we will be purchasing a pup from a breeder. This experience was absolutely horrible. It breaks my heart to think that a pup could have had a wonderful house tonight, but due to short-sightedness from your staff, this will not happen.</p> <p> </p> <p>THIS WAS POSTED ON THE HAVEN'S FACEBOOK PAGE.
