You get what you pay for or maybe not even .

I had a minor repair on my vehicle . I did a claim on the app to no avail . I phoned king price to submit the claim over the phone . Since then I had to phone king price very time . King price never phones . The claim was approved for repair at auto magic . I informed king price that I would not take my vehicle to auto magic as the repair and service is terrible . King price said they would arrange for a cash pay out so I may do the repair myself . The panel beater that I used did the repair in 2 days . It did coat more than what king price paid out but it is worth it as I need my vehicle for work .

We have been with kingprice for the last 10 years. On the last 2 claims the service was just horrible to say the least. On my bakkie it took them a month to get my vehicle to a panel beater. As I was not going to let my vehicle go to ross champion ( on google they have very bad reviews ) . My vehicle went to autobahn approved repair center. When I went to go pick up my vehicle it was not cleaned and there was new damage. When I asked the consultant she immediately said it was there before. After meeting with phillip and the manager from aurobahn the additional repair was done . I don’t know how they are bmw approved. Fish eyes and orange peel on the paint work, sanding marks that can be seen and then just over coated. Ross champion and a panel beater that I got a quote from quoted just about the same but after JR from automagic did the mediation he dropped the quote with 10k now I guess if the insurance company dictates what they are paying for the repair , you get what you pay for ! We then had an incident where my son had an accident with a vehicle on my policy . He is was not noted as the regular driver for this vehicle and subsequently kingprice repudiated the claim or should I say they advised me to withdraw the claim. A consultant took it upon himself to have the vehicle moved from gobit to a panel beater in Edenvale . It is now almost a week and I am waiting for kingprice to get the vehicle from that panel beater back to gobit as they will not tow the vehicle to my house that is 4 km away from gobit .
