Worst insurance company

<p>I write to hello peter with absolute dissatisfaction, disbelief and horror with the experience I had with King Price. I was involved in an accident on the 08th of June 2017. At the scene of the accident I called King Price numerous times to get my car towed as it was not drivable - no one had answered. As I could not wait at the scene since it was late evening and I was injured, a tow truck company stopped and claimed to be affiliated with King Price. Due to no one at King Price answering the phones, I had my car towed by these guys. King Price returned my call the next morning while in the ICU of Enbeni Hospital. They could not give me an explanation as to why no one called me that night or why no one answered my calls. The nature of their call to me was to say they are not affiliated with the towers I used and that I would be responsible for the towing fees. This cost was an astounding R4000.00!! I hadn’t paid the towers. Eventually King Price settled this amount with them only to find out 2 month after that I had to pay King Price back. After a few weeks had passed I heard nothing from them on the progress of my claim. I had chased and they said to me, my claim has been declined! After many calls and back and forth emails, I was told there is no way around it and the only solution is that they pay me back the premiums. Still to this point no one could give me proper feedback. According to them my car was a write off and the it will be moved to SMD. SMD were willing to me R20 000.00 for a 2011 Polo Vivo which was valued at R105 000.00. Further to this they wanted me to pay R4800.00 to take my car out. This now leaves me with R15 200.00!! During this entire process I had spoken to so many different people at King Price who had given me robotic answers! I am a respectable citizen of the community and have had no ******** charges against me but in this case I feel like I have no were else to go and I have felt my car insurance was in good hands if anything happened and now I have a written off car and all my hard efforts to pay my car off and move forward had returned me to a life of financial despair!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
