What King Price Does not Tell you
I got High jacked 28/05/2015 and Car Track could only find their unit but not the car. Apparently if you are insured with King Price, they have a secret agreement with car Track that they will receive the R150 000. King Price agreed to settle the car but there is a short fall of R50 000. I'm now asking for assistance regarding the R150 000 warrantee to assist with the short fall, Thulisile tells me bluntly that is not possible as the R150 000 goes straight to them. King Price are going to pay-out R232100 and I owe the bank R288 000, so in a nut shell King Pice are only paying R82100 towards my misfortune of being high Jacked. This is point blank ******* because this was not disclosed to me when I joined King Price, all they disclose when you join them is you will receive a discounted premium from Car Track and but will not disclose what benefit (Warrantee) you will loose from car track - TCF?, Misrepresentation? Then I Get a call from \A Manager"Monique whose attitude did not make things any better - I asked her when I joing King Price why i was i not told that i will loose this warrentee as I already had cartrack policy on my own - She says its not her area of expertise???"""
We investigated your complaint and found the facts to be as follows. There is definitely no secret agreement between ourselves and car track. During the sales stage of the car track devise you were informed that the recovery warranty is now an agreement between car track and your insurer/broker . This resulted in you paying a discounted rate on the theft portion of your monthly premium as well as a discounted rate on your car track premium. Your car was insured for the full retail value and this amount that was settled. The shortfall on your finance should have been insured by a shortfall insurer and this regrettably has nothing to do with a warranty agreement between Car track and king price. The claim was settled as per the policy specifications in the amount of R237100.00 and no excess was charged .
Please be assured that we always have your best interest at heart, should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact.
