Voucher claim cards is a no no

Previously King Price Insurance use to pay cash for claims direct into your account. Now we discovered they giving claim cards to use in there selected stores and the best thing you cant draw cash. My phone went for repairs they expect me to take this card worth R7000 to buy a new Iphone. Who in there right mind spends R7000 on a phone in todays times. As I told the consultant I'm going to my service provider and upgrade my contract for a new phone. This claim money should assist me in reducing my premium if I pay it in advance for my contract. But the service provider wants eft or cash which these cards don't do. King Price consultant said they only pay cash for vehicle claims. So if your house gets burnt down we getting claim cards to go to Makro to buy a new house ? think King Price we paying cash to this company for you to keep us insured we expect the same. Don't think for us.
