UNSTATISFIED CUSTOMER

I bought a DATSUN GO for my dad in october 2016 and we took up insurance with King Price insurance. The car was in an accident on the 24 November 2016 and my brother was the driver at the time of the accident. My brother had borrowed the car from my dad to use on that day, as his car went for service. My brother was stuck in traffic when a taxi came and smashed into the back of the car, then my dads car knocked the car infront of him. This resulted in a 5 car pile up. My dads car was then towed by King Price tow service to D-Mac, where it was there for about 6 days before an assessor assessed the car. They did not keep me updated during the process, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They had told me that the car was assessed and it will take 7 working days for the damage report to come back. A claim assessor Ryno Swanepoel had been to my house to meet my brother and father. My brother had told him everything that happened and that he has a car of his own and that he only borrowed the car as his car had been for service that day, which he did confirm at Ford Pinetown. He also came to my working place unannounced to ask me questions about the car and the accident. We provided him with all the information he wanted and said that it will take 7 working days to get the report and he will let us know. That was 2 and a half weeks ago. I contacted Ryno on Tuesday 20/12/2016 as I had not heard anything about the claim. He said that he would let me know on Wednesday the next day, he then called my brother on Tuesday and said that he was busy with other claims and needs 2 days more, he said he will let us know on Wednesday or Thursday. I received no call from him, I called him yesterday and he said that he was still waiting for a report. Today he called to get my brothers girlfriends number to verify his driving ability, he said he could not get in contact with her for 2 weeks, he was given my elder brothers number to confirm his driving ability which he did not do. I do not see the point of all this happening now as all this should have been done during the 7 working days that they said they will take to verify all the details we had given them. Today when he was supposed to tell us the outcome he comes up with a new story that his manager wants him to confirm with my brothers gilfriend how my brother drives. This should have all been over and done with weeks ago. Now we have a long weekend and we are told to wait until after the holidays to know what is happening. We are without a car for a month now. This is really ridiculous now as no other insurance company takes so long and looking for reasons not to pay for the car. Everything has already been confirmed, why is it taking so long. King Price claims its the best insurance company, but it is not, they are not helpful at all. They are nice when you take up cover but when you got to claim, they treat you like a ******** asking you the same questions over and over again. They claim they are not like the other companies but they are worse than them. We have to phone them everytime and find out what is happening, they have no courtesy what so ever. Their attitudes change from when you first take up cover to when you claim. I am not happy with this and my dad as well.
