Unhappy, loyal paying client.
I put in a claim for a 4K TV and its 4K display adapter that got damaged together by surge according to the Assessment Centre.
Jul 10, 2020, 2:48 PM I received this mail: "Please be advised that your claim have been approved for replacement."
Jul 15, 2020, 2:08 PM I received this mail: "The replacement was based on the images we received and that on the TV only. If you forward me the images of the adapter with the model number visible I can attend to this soonest."
Jul 15, 2020, 6:59 PM I saw the Assessment Centre sent me the Display adapter photos, I forwarded it to King Price immediately.
After enquiry upon enquiry I finally received this mail on Feb 4, 2021, 12:32 PM: "I see they included images of the TV along with their report, but not on the graphics card, hence the decision was made to rather have our service provider assess the card in order to proceed."
Feb 9, 2021, 1:08 PM I reminded them that the Email send on 15 July 2020 with display adapter photos within this email history with screenshot proof.
Feb 15, 2021, 10:18 AM I received this email: I cannot seem to find as such. Best solution will be to obtain the items so an assessment can be completed.
So they delayed and delayed the claim because they must have known there is a 21 day salvage period and that my property would be lost to defray expenses at the Assessment Centre.
Why was the Assessment Centre's report good enough for the TV and not the Display Adapter?
If the claims consultant missed my photos on his email why must I then be punished?
Very very unhappy.
Our claims department has discussed the claim with you in detail as well as the reason a report is required. Should you wish to dispute the outcome of the claim you may do so by emailing a detailed dispute to ***

The reason a second report is required is because the claims consultant missed the photos in the email on July 15, his mistake not mine. Unfair toward me considering the lack of communication from your side and the timeline this has dragged on to at my expense.
