Unfair treatment

I had an incident on the 27th of August 2017, whereby while avoiding another vehicle I climbed the pavement, resulting in a damaged suspension. King Price took a month to assess the vehicle and in the very end, rejected my claim based on a tow truck driver’s statement, who claims I was “under the influence”, which is utter **** as I will not dis-respect my religion by indulging in any unruly act during my fasting period. Clearly the tow truck driver is forced to do whatever the insurance company requires because he is afraid to lose his contract with them. No blood or breathalyser test was requested from King Price within that 24 hour period. My bank statements, my phone calls, my tracking report, was all looked into as though I was a ********. After a month of harassment and further inconvenience, King Price cancels my policy without any notification, leaving my vehicle un-insured at the assessment centre, also after telling me the day before that they will deliver the vehicle back to me, the next day they ask me to fetch the car myself at my own cost. To make matters worse they still debiting my account after cancelling the policy. I am now repairing the vehicle at my own cost. King Price is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

Hi Sunjay

The outcome of the claim has been discussed with you as well as the letter confirming the outcome has been emailed to you. The letter does explain the procedure should you dispute the status of your claim.
