Unfair claim process from king price car insurance
I joint king price in December from my previous insurance. I canceled my previous insurance in November 2021. When joining king price they asked for inspection photos at which i uploaded to them before end of November and i got confirmation of that submission. On the 25 December 2021 i found my car bumed on right hand by someone i dont know broke my mirror and scratches on my right side. I immediately report the incident and i only got response on 28 December 2021 from the insurance. First they told me that my access money will double because im claiming before 2months, then i asked does that apply even i was insured previously since 2019 for the same car. They told me that i will pay double. Then they send me to assessment at which i did. Today king price called that the photos i uploaded did not show the right mirror i must resend them or summary of insunce from previous insurance. I send them photos showing the right side without scratches and after accident. What bore me is what im only told i did not summit photos that shows the right mirror only now when claiming and they already deducted twice. Now im told to submit summary of insurance and consent letters. I feel like the insurance is trying by all means not to pay my claim for just replacing mirror and removing scratches. Im really disappointed from king price and all this tricks they are playing.
Thanks Ms

As with most insurers an additional excess applies if your claim is within the first 3 months of your cover starting, this is clearly noted in your policy schedule which is sent to you at point of sale. Unfortunately certain information is required in order to validate a claim hence the request from our claims department to provide certain info. Claims will be in contact to discuss your concerns and the way forward.
